Leaving my wallet at home when I went to work, not because I am tight fisted and don't like spending money, but it had my clock card and digital tacho card in it, so have taken the day off. The alternative would have been to extend my working day by almost 2 hours by going home, retrieving my wallet, driving back to work and starting from whatever time I clocked on.
