Well done RK9
Another blow stuck for women's emancipation
Always good to see a woman who knows how to handle tools
And not afraid to get her hands dirty
Got a call from Pontins this morning and booked the chalet for Feb, watch out southport, lock up your daughters or bring them to the slaughter, that is my advice to that town!
JP hon, if you look East Southeast quite low in sky almost at horizon at 5am-ish on 18th Nov you should be able to see Ison with the naked eye.
It will be in the constellation of Virgo passing beside a star called Spica on 18th.
An easy way to spot it is if you find Mars first, the constellation Virgo is on the right hand side of it and Spica is about 45 degrees angle from Mars below it.
You can also see Ison with binoculars before 18th at various upper points /stars of the constellation...check out the Sky at Night's website or any other astronomy one to track it....it has developed a tail so is getting brighter.
And yes, Astronomy makes me smile
