ok, it was 3 days ago, but am still pretty hacked off about it, n aint been able to vent me spleen in here till now!........................some f**ker smashed up the back of my car.......driving too fast, n skidded on the ice etc....accidents happen i know, woulda been pretty cool about it, if they aint have just driven off, n left me to discover my rear bumper etc...scattered up the road................reported it, but aint holding me breath:o(............

Bummer Arf .... Finding out that the disgusting wallpaper on my bathroom ceiling that I am finally removing was in fact doing a fine job of holding the ceiling together............preceded by the fact that the disgusting tiles on the walls were also holding the plaster on..... AAARRRGGGHHH old houses n DIY suck!

Catey, I can assure you that it isn't just old houses, new houses can be just as much a pain. I think basically it's DIY that sucks.

Catey when I took my bathroom tiles off the wall I was left with lots of straw showing, I had to pay to have the whole bathroom re plastered. Think I live in the house the three little pigs got together to build, Straw, wood and bricks. Why do the little DIY good ideas always turn into bigger jobs.

yeah my thoughts exactly CG....took me 5 years to get round to 'gettin a new suite' to replace the 'orrible pink one....looks like I'm gonna need a full re-plaster for starters....including the ceiling which looks in danger of caving in...hey ho...mind u...I should have known better....exact same thing happened in the livin room and kitchen....
