I started a new job 8 weeks ago, and to say that the folks in the office were/have been a little 'cold' is an understatement. However, this week there has been a change.....

For some strange reason, this week my work shoes have started to squeak as I walk up and down the office!!!! That's fine when the office is busy and there is lots of chatter, but oh boy when its quiet, that's all that can be heard!!! As a result, folk have started to chat to me and even include me in their conversations, all because we have been laughing about my squeaky shoes ......

LOL Squeaky shoes = new friends :)

glad it made you smile Kaz, I was starting to wonder why the office people were being so unsociable, and although you know me and I consider myself to be very amicable, as the 'new girl' on the block, and after 18 months of being out of work, I guess I was finding it a little difficult.

Typing this message made me laugh out loud because instead of typing, new girl on the 'block', I typed the word 'bloke'.....lol

Mmmmmmm, now that sounds like fun!!!
