Ha I know that feeling Izzy got a new back one few weeks back and took days to get it on cos of waiting on a mate to do it.... only cost me a beer or three anyway so not too bad
Made me smile again today being off work and did nothing I had planned to do but had an enjoyable day doing nowt anyway....did that make sense lol
Visiting a mate's recording studio earlier and listening to some amazing local guitarists ..... might ask her for a job there...heavenly job that would be
The same thing that made me sad..Sitting in Mc Donalds smiling at happy memories of someone i wont see again .. I will always have the memory though ..
Finally getting the cataract in my right eye removed and having a lens implant! The only unpleasant bit was the local anaesthetic which was injected around the periphery of my eye and, although it wasn't painful, the sensation was eeeeew horrid! But it effectively 'switched off' my eye and all I could perceive was a psychedelic light show. After three rounds of drops I was wheeled into the theatre at 11:20 and back in my room by 11:50. The staff were really excellent and I was provided with a good lunch
afterwards (Poached salmon with a salad and a fresh fruit salad +
coffee). Home by 2:10. Job done......just have to do three lots of drops for a few weeks. Fingers crossed my sight will be much improved in that eye.
