Ho poo I've just seen the posts above while I was trying to be poetic about my day today.
I don't have a clue about him today because I've not been to work and been sniffing the ear of the pig.
I did have a beautiful view of a Chinook Helicopter flying up the Thames at dusk.
And I think I saw D6 in a advert in tv this morning, sitting in a wheelchair while the young lady should have gone to spec savers.

Emotional, yesterday I sat in traffic watching a young couple kissing in a doorway ( yes I know there's a name for that sort of thing ), and today I saw a young man walk over a small bridge and meet a young girl, He looked around to see if there was anyone about, she was giggly....as i past I looked back in my wing mirror and there she was legs wrapped around his waist and arms around his neck, so pleased to be with him. Isn't young love great :D and yes I guess seeing all this love about made me a little choked :) x

Good idea Ragnar, think I'll go down the boozer myself. If I stay long enough I'll miss all the trick or treaters. Saves hiding behind the sofa with the lights off. Bah Humbug ! lol.

Very mixed
My Doctor said I am fit to go back to work.
The company Doctor said I am fit to go back to work.
The company now say I have to go in on Monday to have a
FULL WORKPLACE ASSESSMENT to see if I am fit to return to work.
Do you think they are trying to tell something ?

Probably not. Legally every firm has to do a return to work assessment. It means that they cover themselves if any issues arise, shows a duty of care.

If only that were true we only ever have a driving assessment others have been off on long term sick and not had this. We will see on Monday

RB is right, we have to have a return to work interrogation when we have been off work sick. One of the drivers had an accident and busted his arm and shoulder up badly, he came to work to bring his sick note in and the cast he had on meant he couldn't get through the turnstile gate. Even though the transport manager and the ops manager saw it, he still had to have an interview when he came back two months later.
Don't sweat it JP, it is standard practice these days.

Your not reading it right, yes we have them to BUT this is a full assessment only new starters have them.

You've just had surgery on your shoulder, they probably want to make sure you are fit enough to drive, the last thing they want is an unsafe driver behind the wheel of a 40 tonner!
