Been for a blast up and down Hartside pass . To scuff in , mi brand new back tyre.
This one is a Pirelli. I chose it especially because it fulfills all my requirements for a sports/touring tyre.
Round, black and on special offer lol.

Hartside, I love the ride up there, are there any ride outs planned to go?

Hi Ali, dunno . It's. A bit of a hike from your part of the world. Probably better doing an 'oop North' wknd and having it as a ride out.
There's lots of new tarmac on the Alston side. Really clean smooth sticky stuff on some bends , orgasmic.

It's a good few hours ride, done it as pilly a couple of times and once on my own bike and loved it! A weekend up that way, now there's a thought....

Left the house at 11am yesterday and got back 10 pm. Had a wonderful time, Jim showed me some lovely roads. Later met up with a few others and it was lovely sitting outside the pub in the warmth of the sun, watching the ducks on the water.
The old military road near Faslane over to Balloch is great on a bike.
