Went out Saturday morning headed up to isle of skye to hotel via the small ferry. Left digs straight away and headed up to apple cross.omg what a road. Got to the pub for 8pm had a meal and headed back to Skye, finally getting there at 2240. Today set off and went via fort william, kinlochleven, Glencoe glen sherrup and home. Totally trip for the two days just under 600 miles, weather mainly dry. The roads and perfect company made the whole weekend marvelous
Had a great ride out today, I rode from London to Cheltenham to meet up with another BM member, who showed me some lovely roads and then headed back to London
Should really have washed it after ride on Saturday with Babs, Jim and Danny; but weather so nice I couldn't resist a chip run to the seaside - in this case, Largs. Only downer was last 4 miles of road home closed for resurfacing and a 15-mile detour to get home for 11pm. Yawn
Back on my own bike for first time in a month, had an awesome ride to squires in my new pink camouflage Kevlar jeans, as much as I love them not sure squires men felt the same!! Lol
Today I did go for a ride to Weston-Supa-Mare, on my trike, with my son, all the way from Glastonbury. Not much to some, but a lot to me as I been off the road and off the scene for a long time. My arms ache and my knee hurts, but my grin is bigger!
Rode down to The New Forest with Linda. We had great afternoon and evening walk about the village we are staying in. We will be meeting the other BM'ers tomorrow for the Beaulieu ride in day.
