Ian & I were out the other day, having dropped Stuey off for his service, we had pulled into a garage for petrol when an instructor & pupil called in behind us. As bikers do we all got talking & after hearing the instructors pass rate for mod 1 I took the instructors details (mine retires before I will be ready to do my mod 1 again). He is about to break away to form his own riding school & has just got planning permission for his new school to build a full size mod 1 practice track so that he will be able to teach pupils how to tackle things fully rather than say, ok youcan do it at 20 now on the mod 1 in the extra distance you have you got to find another 12 mph. I just wondered if anyone else has experience with schools that have a full size practice course for mod 1, as he did state he was not sure how many other schools in the UK also have this.

My school Active Motorcycle Training in Derby actually hire out the real DSA course in Burton upon Trent for practising on...but what a good idea it is until the Government decides to change the test again!

For the last 2 days I have been having lessons with Focus rider training in Bolton & have had a go on their full size Mod1 training course. WOW what a difference to what I was on before !!! They have it all set up correct including a speed gun so you can see the speeds your doing through the swerve & emergency stop & I have to say that how I feel about the mod1 now is a LOT different to how it was before... before it was .. yeah its not as bad they say ... now its BRING IT ON !!! I have also done some riding on the Gladius ... what a FANTASTIC bike !! I am so looking forward to riding Vinny My instructor has been talking to me about BM & has joined so any Q's you can direct to him & he likes the idea of being part of the social side rides out etc etc .. Big_Liam ... (Ladies check him out he is single JACKIE BE NICE !! HE IS NEW !!) I do want to say a GREAT BIG THANKYOU to my darling Mr_P, without who I would not have had the confidence to go for it again, I would not have got Stuey & certainly would not have clocked up the miles I have done over the last few months, you have been a great help at getting me out of bad habits & into good ones darling Will let you all know how it goes as I progress towards a test date

Hey Stella , am doing great Ian & I just got home from holidays ... Egypt was lovely there 2 weeks just relaxing, VERY much needed. They are FANTASTIC Stella, I would say you would be ok ... your about as tall as me (I only seem taller as I always have high heels on LMAO) yes I cannot get my feet completely flat on the floor but am not up on tippy toes either & although at 1st I noticed the difference in weight to Stuey thats only when getting off the side stand, after 2 days riding its fine & it feels so light once your riding it xx
