Event: The Roaches Camping Weekend

Relaxed, chilled camping weekend in the beautiful Peak District.

The campsite is at Leek Edge Farm and the cost is £4.00 per person, per night.
Facilities include water stand pipe
1 ladies and 1 gents toilet
1 shower in a purpose built building which is free.

Open Fires and BBQ's are permitted only if they are OFF THE GROUND! The site owner said she will get some bricks etc for us to use.

There is a pub called The Moss Rose, which is less than 100yds from the site.
There's another pub callled The Rock Inn approx 2.5miles away, The Horseshoe Inn approx 2 miles away .. as well as a few other pubs...so plenty of places to eat/drink.

The Tittesworth Resevoir is approx 2miles away and has a visitors centre and boating lake.

Leek is approx 1 mile away and has all the usual, supermarket, cafes, pubs, shops etc.

The Roaches is approx 3miles away and is great for walks, climbing and bouldering so those that are energetic, bring your grippy boots and some rope! those of you that aren't into that, there's some brilliant views and Matlock Bath is approx 10 -15 miles away so some good roads to have a ride out.

This will be a good chill out weekend to mark the end of the Summer, so get your names down and lets unwind and chill out before we settle in for the winter !! :o))
