Event: Venture South for Xmas Dinner 8th to 10th December 2023

The annual Darn Sarf Christmas Dinner will be at The Toby Carvery as usual on the weekend 8th-10th of December 23.

The Christmas Dinner is on Saturday evening and will as per usual be a dress up up event (smart casual). Saturday during the day you go off and do your own thing. Then start arriving at Toby Carvery from 6.00pm onwards for drinks and a natter, then sit down to eat at 7.00pm .

The cost of the 3 course meal this year is £18.50. i will be requiring a £10 (non-returnable) deposit in advance so a place can be secured at Toby Carvery.
Please PM either DAVE VM or Tinkytinkerbelle for the details to pay the deposit and to let us know your menu choices. We will be needing confirmed numbers so we can book Toby Carvery by Tuesday 31st October. There will be be a small number of places available for any late comers.

There is a Travelodge right next door to Toby Carvery, if you want to come to this event i would advise booking up for Friday and Saturday asap as the prices will soon start to increase as time goes on.

We can meet up in Toby on the Friday evening for a catch up & a few drinks should the fancy take you. If not you can catch a taxi into Eastbourne where there's plenty of places to get a drink and food.

Mains.
1.Spinach &Mushroom Pithivier (VE).
2.Salmon & Prawn Wellington.
3.The Carvery.

Puddings.
1.Festive Crumble (VE) with either Custard or Vegan Custard.
2.Christmas Pudding (VE) with either Custard, Soya Custard or Brandy Sauce.
3.Home Baked Chocolate & Cookie Dough Brownie (V) with Strawberries, Whipped Cream, Salted Caramel Sauce & a sprinkle of Honeycombe.
4.Salted Caramel Profiterole Sundae (V) with Toffee & Chocolate Sauce, Strawberries & Honeycombe.
5.Dairy Ice Cream (V) with Cadburys Flake & either Strawberry, Toffee, Belgian Chocolate or Sicilian Lemon Sauce.
