Not so much a new member, just haven’t been active for a long time.
I’m Dave, 57, living in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. I’m 5’6” and slightly rounded, lol.
I'm very tattooed, including hands, neck, face and head. I'm aware that might put some people off, it's ok I'm used to it, lol.
I'm a big music lover with a varied collection, mostly rock and punk but I also listen to a lot of different styles… Oldies, Rock’n’Roll, Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Ska, Reggae, Motown, Soul (I used to DJ Northern Soul), Country, Classical, Spiritual Folk…
I’m open to chatting if you’re feeling brave enough to message me, lol.
Just like to say Hi, thx to those thatve messaged me with greetings, I really never knew this existing until a few days ago, looking forward to getting into it further, 👍
Hi everyone, Returning member, I was last here 12 years ago, unfortunately sold all my gear, bike etc, now saving hard to get back to me being me, also looking forward to connecting with some local ladies as friends to hang out with as all mine aren't into motorbike, I'm in Nottinghamshire area.
Hi. I'm a newbie in Kent 👋 Hopefully my little story might make you smile. A couple of years ago, I decided to end my marriage to a coersive controler, and at the same time I revisited an old wish to learn to ride. About a week b4 he moved out, he came home early and spotted my helmet on the side, as I hadn't put it away yet. He stood at the bottom of the stairs, shouting up "If youre hiding in the bedroom, youd better get yourself down here now, so we can sort it out!!" He couldnt believe the helmet was mine 😆 I got my CBT about a week after he moved out (Oct 23), followed by a little Honda125. I classed this all as a divorce present to myself 😁. Freedom from him and freedom on the roads 🙂. There is more to my happy (and sometimes funny) journey, but I'll drop that into another forum. Maybe you'll have a good old belly laugh 😆 I passed my DAS in May '24, 2 days b4 my 58th bitrhday, so of course, I had to treat myself to a birthday bike. A Kawasaki Z650. My little Green Genie.
It's the best thing I've ever done. The trouble is, I can't part with my little 125, and now I want a cruiser too 😅. I've got it bad! And no-one warned me 🤣
