the excitement does wear off eventually KK, but with the prospect of meeting old friends and making new ones at all the various rallies, including BM's own KISS rally, riding a bike stays with you for life, only you can determine how much and how often you get your biking fix.
Still got it after 30yrs and its still as bad. Did the cat+fiddle on the way back from KISS and cannot stop thinking about it. The ride through Ashborne on saturday (maybe 100 bikes, wheel to wheel) was absolutely fantastic.
For some its a job, its a passion, its a drug, its an escape or basicly such an addiction it forces me back into forced despatch riding time after time after time.......the pull can be so painfull its not funny.
So no if your a biker thats it....sorry ther aint no escape.
More addictive than smack, more exciting than sex with a footballer's wife.
Unless you ride 365 [I don't] It can be a bit dodgy in springtime as you take off on your first ride of the year. Like a 17 year old with his/her first btl of vodka. It can end in tears.lol
Went for a ride with some mates on Wednesday- 2 Blackbirds, a Buell, a ZX9R and my SV thou and can still here the sound in my head. Absolutely pinned at times, I mean flying-130+: it's a drug thats gonna kill me but fuck me what a buzz. In a mundane world it's the only thing that keeps me sane. If you are a policeman then all the above is a figment of my twisted mind. I have never exceeded 70mph and my reg is not ACAB 666.
