totally agree pics should be recent 1s at the rally on sat evening there were people instantly recognisable and some not, it should be made a rule if it isent already.also some of the profile pics are nothing like the person they supposedly portray.

Been single for a year or so now and to be honest I've started to enjoy myself, met a bunch of great people and when I'm not been dragged from pillar to post or generally beaten up and bullied mercilessly by one or all of my 4 sons or my manic Springer spaniel I actually get to do stuff!! (Hmm .... perhaps that's not the best intro for a dating site, note to self, think before committing hands to keyboard)

I think the posting of pics is a personal decision. If you don't want to post one, don't, you are not going to get the same reaction as someone who has knicked one off porntube, but we are not all the same. Don't think the site should insist on profile pic, it works well enough as it is. Took me all of 10 mins to put a picky up, and before anyone says anything, yes I should have been more choosy about me pics, but I canna change me ugly mug now can I. Welcome to all the new peeps, enjoy and get involved !
Well BL and Em, it's not me who is top poster, hardly ever do. But you rite, far too much time on my hands, it's cos I drink too much and find it difficult to walk at times ;-)
I am of the same opinion as bandit, pics shouldn't be made compulsory, good, bad or indifferent. If you don't put one up you will get less attention than others. If you do decide to put a pic up as long as you face is visible should suffice, and you could a native American headdress and nothing else as far as I care.
