MCN is looking for readers to take part in the first test of the 2010-spec
against the 2009 model.
The test will take place on Tuesday February 2 at Bruntingthorpe Proving
Ground in Leicestershire. You’ll get time on both bikes and your face in MCN,
though you’ll also have to spend time waiting around while we ride the bikes,
take pictures and shoot video too.
We’re looking for the owner of a 2008/2009 specification R6
who is interested in trading in for the new model, and a rider who doesn’t
currently own an R6 but is in the market to buy one
soon.
Reliable people are required – you must be 100% confident in your ability to
make it. You’ll need to be free for the whole day, and be prepared to ride in
the wet if necessary.
You’ll need a full licence and full head-to-toe protective kit. We also want
to know about your recent riding experience – you don’t need to have ridden for
20 years, but if you’ve just stepped off a 125 you’re not the person we’re
looking for.
The deadline for applying is <st1:time minute="0" hour="13">1pm</st1:time>
Friday 29 January to allow us to organise the test – any applications after
that will be too late to be considered. Email chris.newbigging@motorcyclenews.com
with a brief outline of your interest in the 2010 R6 and your riding experience.
