A MOTORCYCLIST sustained injuries to his neck, back and legs after he crashed down a bank and into a stream.
The rider, in his early 40s, lost control of his motorbike along Via Gellia Road , in Bonsall, near Matlock, earlier today at 12.45pm.
Fire crews from Matlock were called and rescued him from the stream, as he was unable to get to his feet.
He fell roughly eight feet into the stream and did not sustain life threatening injuries.
A specialist stretcher and rope was used before the motorcyclist was taken to hospital
