Was just trying to change my credit card details on Paypal, which it seems incapable of doing but instead has cancelled my BikerMatch subscription without my authorisation.
It seems I will probbaly revert to a Standard member until I can get this sorted so I apologise in advance for my quietness...

As for Paypal... if you remove your card details without adding a new one FIRST it will cancel all the subscriptions in your account. Yea I know it sucks but theres nothing I can do about it :-(
All you have to do is wait for your subscription to expire and you will be downgraded. That is after the current term that you've paid for. So if you've only just paid for 6 months, then it will be in 6 months time that you need to recreate your subscription.
And all you have to do is re-enter your Paypal email and password when prompted by bikermatch, it's dead easy!
So....
Continue using the site until your current paid-up period is over
When required to do so, the site will tell you to subscribe
Select your term (Monthly, Quarterly, etc)
Enter Paypal email and password
DONE!
You'll get a confirmation page, a VAT receipt and emails from both BM and Paypal servers will all the info in. Paypal's servers will instantly upgrade your BM account and you're on your way.
The whole process can be over with in less than 10 seconds!!!

My current subscription runs out on the 22nd so hopefully it will be sorted by then.
There seems to be a problem with verifying my address which I had already done on the 10th via an automated phone call. However this doesn't seem to have registered as it is still asking me to verify the address but won't let me request another phone call as it says one is already scheduled.... *sigh*
Am in contact with Paypal now so fingers crossed...
You dont need to verify your address i dont think, it just allows you to do more thigns once you verify your address. But you dont have to do so i dont think.
and you will have to recreate your subscription if paypal have emailed you saying that theyve cancelled the current one
For some reason they will only take my ebay sellers fees from a credit card but it doesn't seem to recognise it. Every other transaction is debitted from my bank account so I don't know why this one has to be different... I guess they are far cleverer people than I.
I will renew my subscription as soon as I have sorted this out as there is every chance it will just be cancelled again until I regain some stability.
