WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - have just bought a Suzy GN125 04 plate it's being delivered on Monday . Bought from John Carr motorcycles in Alfreton - drove down this am to check it out! it's Red (just like me hair lol ) & has a top box - which I'm not too sure about but it could come in handy for girly things Also treated meself to a new pair of armoured waterproofs (No I haven't won the lottery unfortunately - But I SHALL be buying a ticket for tonight!!! lol ) Now - Insurance - have had quotes from Carole Nash - expensivish, Bennets - not too bad. Any other recomandations for good insurance??

Try not to panic - but make yourself get out there ASAP and just do it!

It'll take a little while for the nerves to reduce, but you'll get there - everyone's the same starting out... and we'll all be with you in spirit ;o)

Hey HFG, good on ya girl! If its any help, i found Bennetts to be the cheapest for new riders, i went with them for my first year, but i've just swapped to Carole Nash, cos they were half the price for my second. Just get what you can for the first year, then you can shop around. Oh and go fully comp, cos you never know what might happen when yr learning. But most of all, try and enjoy it, I know i've got room to talk, but after a year of trying to be a biker, you sort of just become one! Oh and Kaz....get a bloomin bike sorted out! I keep looking out for on for you...watch this space!

Good on ya HFG. I insure through eBike, as they managed to undercut Carole Nash to the extent that it balanced out my total loss and SP30 about 3 years ago. Incidents unconnected, but they came within a week of each other and left me distinctly unamused.

And definately a ride to Squires..tho i mite needta park down the road or somewhere outta sight !! haha I keep checking insurances too.. just to get a rough idea... but im better waiting till i get a bike ..lol
