Cheers Matt , I know 1 BMer who might be going too , a lass from Newtonmore , I've known her pre-BM as my dad used to work for her father . I know loads of people in Dunbeath anyway as I have been going up there since before the rallies started . There are quite a few of my off-line friends from Ripon and Harrogate going too so I won't be on my own for long. Thanx julie will see you on Saturday , morning after pills? don't think my physical make-up would allow me to get pregnant

Thanx Karey , have not done the Wildcat Rally yet , it is one that I want to do , unfortunately clashes with a rally that my ex goes to so I have the kids at that time , will just have to wait till kids are old enough to look after themselves , youngest is only 5 . Another on my to do list is the Simmer Dimm Shetland

Simmer Dimm is around the same time as Wildcat, have heard it is really good , have seen some pics from it too - some seriously wild drinking games , one involving a tens-machine attatched to the drinking arm ooooaaaahhh

I've heard that too , apparently they cannot obtain a drinks license due to some obscure Shetland law , so they add it to the ticket price and just have a free-for-all , thinking about it £60 aint bad say £10-£15 for ticket and £45-£50 for weekends booze , hell I can easily blow £50 on an afternoon session , the expensive bit is the ferry from Aberdeen but then again its a full day sailing

Aye..thats not bad at all, when u put it like that! Mite havta give that one a go next year ! Went to Faro this year, that was beer/food tickets too.. plus u got a 3 free meals.. think the tickets were £45 for 4 days !! was Ace !

Just been checking out the ferry for Simmer Dim , meals and most of drinks included in the fare . Found out its around 21st June , longest day where it does not get properly dark , which Shetlanders refer to as Simmer Dim (hence rally name) . Got a mate in Durham(met at Towrags Rally IOW) who wants to go to Simmer Dim . Dates are good for me too , looks like I could do that one . Will try to get in touch with my mate(best-man at my wedding) in Shetland and find out when tickets are on sale , I might even see him at Dunbeath Rally , he was born and bred in Dunbeath and moved to Shetland bout 3 years ago. We are planning Faro for 2012 , by the time we take into account fuel , servicing and tyres on the bike it is quite costly , so a bit of saving to do for that.
