Richa Ladies Leathers in Dark Blue, Sz 8

Hi. I have a sent of dark blue leathers for sale, jackets and trousers are both size 8. I bought it as my leathers are a bit small for me, and these are almost brand new, and I like the look better.... However, being the short-ass that I am, the trousers are too long for me. Altering them is an option but it will no longer look as smart, as it would "eat into" the logo on the thigh. The jacket has removable shoulder armour, and a back pocket for a back protector insert. The jacket as squidgy panels on the back on the outside to add to the back protection. There is armour in the elbow that extends to cover the forearm, and padded areas in the collar bone area. The trousers has armour on knees, extra padding on hips, velcro for knee sliders, and stretchy panel at the back of the leg. Well, I'd like £100 for them. Please get in touch if you're interested, or if you would like to view photos of the actual jacket & trousers. By the way they look just like this set: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=170257164824 P.S. These are not on ebay, and I would like to avoid that route if I can.

Now if they'd have been in black and in fat b'stard size, I might've contacted you! Heheheh! ;o)

Good luck with ebay!

"Fat b'stard size" LOL!! They're IMO quite roomily cut. Just a teeny-tad long in the sleeves. But no good with the knee armour over my shins :/ Should have tried to sell them earlier on in the season. May be that would have generated some more interest.

You never know, Yudanja - you get a lot of people looking for a bargain this time of year as they know the fair-weather crew tend to out their biking stuff in the Autumn/Winter. As for leathers, I think the manufacturers seem to imagine we've all got super-long legs, child-bearing hips (so long as you're bearing sextuplets!) and the most incredible Amazon-like thighs! Certainly if I find a set that fit at the waist, there's room down each leg and at the hips for carrying a full set of camping gear! lol And the knee armour does indeed morph into shin/ankle armour! D'oh!

Wannabe, if it's not too much trouble, please could you send me more of that "luck" stuff? Looks like I am gonna need lots if these leathers are going to find a new home and get me a few quids back.

Thanks Wannabe and Hull750Rider. I have 2 problems when it comes to fittings. 1 - a bit porky in the circumferencial measurements 2 - a bit short - in terms of height overall. Understandably these statements only make sense when compared to the "norm", and the media tells us that women should be stick thin, blond and all that BS. I say they're freaks of nature, but most men don't agree, but anyway. Anyhow, these leathers have to go. They'll just take up space and gather dust if they stay with me. Had a few "watchers" but as none of them placed a bid, I had to relist; and if nothing happens - they're going in a big box and will be put aside.

Porky she says, at size 8! ROFL!

Bless your heart Yudanja - you've just sent about 1,000 Biker Match females running for the emergency Haagen Dazs in the freezer!

;o)

If they don't go this time, put 'em into storage over the winter and try again in the Spring... fingers crossed people will be spending their pennies again by then... it's not good out there at the moment...
