The wiring on bmw's to [ key sensor] is a bit stiff and after a while turning bars lock to lock one breaks, so I thought I'd change wiring to silicon [much more flexible] there are 4 yellow wires which I marked 1 to 4 to match the small plug which goes in under ignition switch, cut the wires and soldered on new ones plus plug, but somethings wrong and immobiliser kicks in. I am positive I kept wires in right order. Any ideas please. Will go through it tomorrow and try the 24 combinations that are possible in case I did cock up.

Sorted, it was down to me getting number 3 and 4 the wrong way round, luckily it was my first try at changing combination of numbers.
Thanks.

Must have been having a dyslexic/blonde moment yesterday, still I gave the neighbors a bit of noise for a change with the alarm going off every time I switched on.
