hello , has anyone ended up in the mad house after spending hours getting nowhere on this site? anyone ever had a refund? £ 40, for what? pages and pages of things that were said years ago, pages of people that have not been on here for a long long time there membership is up but they are still here? they are prob dead.
The way to avoid the pages of stuff said years ago in the forums is to click on the last page number... i.e. don't just click on the discussion title... that will take you to the most recent posts made.
On the right hand side of the forum topics, you can see the date the last post was made, so you know if it's a current discussion or not.
I tend to just browse the online members bit, rather than the members by area, so haven't really encountered too much in the way of dormant members. You'll need a photo on your profile to come up in the "browse online members" section, by the way.
Stick around a while, have a check of the Events Calendar & the Events discussions... get yourself along to a meet or 3 and enjoy yourself :o)
There's a lot of sound folk on board and you'll get to meet some good people ("virtually" and in "real life")... just maybe not so many at 10 to 3 on a Saturday morning! lol ;o)
