Hello! From the Cheshire area, been riding for over a decade, just got back from solo touring Europe on a tiger 900 and have also rode across Japan. I rarely pop on here so @itsrickread on Instagram is your best bet
Hi I'm new , feel a bit daft posting im new to biking just doing my lessons now at 42 , never even sat on a bike till my 1st lesson, I'm looking fowerd to getting to know other bikers
Hi to all BM newbies. Feralkitten, it doesn't matter if you are 16 or 60, if riding a bike is what you want to do, you are having a go and that is all that counts. Best of luck with the lessons and eventual test.
Hi everyone, I'm Kate, from Wolverhampton. Hoping to make new friends, maybe join one of the events one day, which I'd absolutely love to. I have zero gear though. I would need to look into slowly getting piece by piece, second hand stuff. I'm open to suggestions as to where to look for something not too expensive. Have a great and safe day everyone!
The Lower Lode camp (near Tewkesbury) is next month and not far from you. Quite a few folks will be there, so it might be a good scrounging unwanted biking gear opportunity for you 🙂

That is a great idea! But from what I've read so far, I should first go to a bike shop and try sizes. I can imagine the fit varies, same as normal clothes. Once I know sizes, I shall look into starting a new topic.
Hi to all new and old users. I hope we get to meet at one of the events one day 😁
I am not familiar with the big retailers in your area but most shops that sell bikes and clothing will have a fitting room/area, go along and an assistant is usually on hand to offer advice. As with normal clothes, different brands cut their clothing a little differently to others. As long as you aren't too fussy about how the hand me downs look, colours etc, there will always be someone who has found their favourite leathers have 'shrunk' since the last time they wore them. Again I would stress that a secondhand helmet is not a good idea, unless you know the person selling it hasn't dropped it or has a bad case of nits. As long as the helmet carries the BS 6658-1985 kite mark or equivalent, there are a lot of helmets that don't cost an arm or a leg........but then again, who wears a helmet on their arm or their leg? There are some very strange folks out there so who knows.
Hi newbie to dating again after a recent separation from my husband, so dipping my toe in! Currently off the road due to finances but I’m a rally club member and get to lots of rallies and gigs. Just got back from Stonedead festival and planning my next rally
Hi everybody. I’m in Beaconsfield and I’m looking for people close by for ride-outs and get-togethers. I enjoy long rides out to the Cotswolds, New Forest or further and can ride enthusiastically or bimble in a group. I’ve passed my IAM Advanced and done some RAPID training and have been riding since the 1980s. Eek! Take care, all.
Hi , new on here but been riding years. Just back from WW1 battlefield tour on versys 650, excellent bike for touring. Did Austria in June another great trip. Nice to meet you all.
