I am fortunate that i have a decent job (i hate it but it pays well up here) but i watched my son struggle to get work.He was desperate and left his mates in Wales to move up with me at 20 years of age because he got 9 months employment when they built the new motorway.After that he tried everywhere and now he has finally got a job up here with a local builder but you would be surprised how many people offered him a couple of weeks work "cash in hand".If you dont take it then you have no chance of being taken on full time and the companies get a grand for employing you if you have been signing on for more than 6 months.Its catch 22 for some people,encouraged by certain companies that want cheap labour.The system discriminates against the honest person and turns a blind eye to the tossers of this world.

My sons, friends, workmates ... etc etc etc would also want thiers putting in & with some I would have to agree it would be the best place for them
