Hi everyone! I've recently returned to the UK after a very long time overseas and have a new bike arriving Wednesday! Hoping to make some bike friends in the south-west and midlands.
Hi everyone, just joined the site and wanted to say hi. Hoping to make new friends with an interest in biking. Any tips on how best to use the site would be very welcome.
I'm a lad from the Erewash Valley area of Notts\Derbyshire. Just came back after 5 years living in Spain. Things have really changed, but then again they are just the same. Work that one out if you can :) If you knocked around the Heanor\Langley Mill\ Eastwood region back in the day you probably know me. You might remember some of the bikes I had - a long forked Honda 550 chopper, sort of what they used to call Swedish style back then, a matt black rigid Harley Shovelhead and a pre unit Triton cafe racer. Plus about a million disposable small capacity Jap bikes just to run around on.
Don't have a bike right now, very long story concerning my evil bitch of an ex wife.
I'm slowly getting back on my feet and I'll be working on bikes again soon to try and scrape some cash together. I spent the last 15 years gunsmithing ( legally - firearms not air rifles ), but I don't want to be doing that any longer, you always have the cops looking over your shoulder and you never get a good nights sleep worrying about what they might do to you if you make an error in your paperwork.
