I'm new to this site I'm 42 year old single lady who lives on a farm in rural south devon. I past my bike test when I was 17 Ive currently got an old Kawasaki 550 but I'm looking to get a bandit as I find the clutch abit heavy on my current bike and it's also very slow. I hope to be out at some bike events this year. See you all soon xxx
Hi Countrymaid You can pick up a used GSX1250FA for a good price. It's the same bike as the new Bandit but with a full fairing. The hydraulic operated clutch is nice at least it is on my one. Plenty of grunt and fun to ride.
Hi all newbie's on here. There's some lovely people on here, but just watch out for BJ she'll fleece you dry at BM do's for raffle tickets and if you don't buy any she'll change any posts you make.
Hi all. Just arrived and thought it would be a tad rude not to say hello. Back to biking after a short break. Having browsed the profiles I could be in the running for a prize as the guy with the smallest bike! Does every bloke on here only own big bikes? Anyway, looking forward to talking to new people and hopefully finding new things to do. Having read some of the forums you seem a very friendly bunch. :)
Thanks Guzziguy123. Hmm I think I may have noticed a couple of big bikes mentioned there? :) I am very happy with my little bike though. We are off to Spain and Portugal in the summer. A trip I couldn't afford on a bigger bike. So adventure awaits. It's the two wheels that matter to me. My aim is to put 10000 miles behind me this year. So, a Guzzi 125? Tell me more!
The 125 is a 1965 Stornello. I picked it up as a wreck and have rebuilt it over the past 3 years. I have this slightly mad notion to ride it back to the factory in Northern Italy one day!
