As a regular in the chatroom i have to say that when i first went in it was a little overpowering, so many conversations goin on at once, but after a while u get used to it. Most of us do say hi to a newbie in the room, all i can say is "jump in"
I have made alot of friends in there and alot of them i haven't actually met yet..
to Matt, as i said i dont want or expect the chat room to change people who use it love it and thats what its all about, i dont feel that im missing out on any thing its just not for me, just trying to explain why its not for everyone, quite often the forums are busier than the chat room and thats good too, gives people a choice weve got the best of both worlds so please dont take it as a moan or a complaint just one point of view

Matt,
Apologies for sounding like a winer, it wasn't me it was julie lol Seriously tho you're all quite right, it's not down to the decor it's the company so if you can drive in the fast lane, go for it, if not, the hard shoulder is the safest bet
I am a newbie so to speak and i have found that plp in chat r very welcoming, sometimes u mite join in mid conversation, say hi and somebody will speak to you honestly.
if i'm in there jump on me i'll dance away with you to the early hours :)

I'll give it another go sometime Jackie but i'll stand well back so I can pick up some speed before I jump in and hopefully I won't get swept off me feet again
I have said hello to a few people on here but no-one seems that interested in saying hello back..............so if you lot are sure that the chatroom is the way to go then maybe I should take the plunge..............just a little weird entering a convo half way thru a bit rude so to speak?

Well hello nanu, i'll talk to you anytime mate but i know what you mean. I've talked to loads of great people through the forums but got a bit lost in the chatroom. As Feisty and Kwak say it's just a question of bargeing in I think and shouting as loud as you can!
whenever I,ve entered chatroom ,though not for a while now I must admit it,s a welcome from all and quickly dragged into things,so don,t be worried or shy
Oh god! I find myself agreeing with RK AGAIN! *sigh*
I tried the chatroom once.... and although people said 'Hi'...that was all they said! I did try and get into the conversation, honest (but as you all know, I am shy and retiring lol)... but found it way too hard, so I gave up and have never been in again!
Strange that you can have years of experience of chat and chatrooms, but when you are the new person, it is seriously daunting! It also doesn't help that I am usually tucked up in bed quite early...so I miss a lot of people being in there.

And your problem with that is what exactly lol
I've decided not to be seen as a moaner so I think the chatroom is very friendly and welcoming and very easy to engage in the current topics of conversation, what's your problem??
lmfao RK !! I don't have a problem agreeing with you, just simply didn't want to be seen as a whingy moaner either (too late I hear you say!).... I am saying no more for fear of incriminating myself further!
C xx
