Well, you have come to the right place... you get out as much as you put in, which I think goes for most in life. Get yourself in the chatroom and make first contact. A lot of spontaneous rides and meet are actually arranged there. Else have a look on the forum and put your name down for events, big or small.... Mainly though... enjoy the ride
Hi tripleandy
Welcome to BM, check out the events put your name down and join in the forums and you should get to know lots of people very soon. There is a friendly bunch of people on here
Thank you for the welcome guys I seem to have spent all evening on here on my first night, I can see this is going to be a lot of fun looking forward to it ...
Hi and welcome all recent newbies I hope you enjoy your time here with us.
If you see an event you'd like to go to, on the events calendar, put your name down.
http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/calendar.asp
If there isn't an event in your area you could arrange your own. Post the event in the motorcycle events forum...
http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/...;
...to see if there's any interest, then when you've got a few definites attending submit it for inclusion to the event calendar; that way you have a place to put any photos that were taken at the event.
Private events (those that aren't open to ALL members) aren't included in the Biker Match events calendar so any photos from those events can be added to individual profiles.
Cheers.

Hi to Bobby Bear and Rikki 78, Triple Andy
Welcome and hello. get on the forums and get to know us. Also check out the events as David Says. Bobbybear I notice you are in Wirral so keep an eye out for stuff in the North West, there is usually a few rallies and the like. Hopefully I can arrange a ride out on the Sunday of the next Bank Holiday for whoever wants to join in.

Hiya, just joined today, well last night really as couldn't sleep. Been having a ferret about. Chat Room is scary having to read three people and type your own rubbish. Will have to work up to that. Have a 22 year old Harley that's just been rebuilt so I can trust it going to the Manx in August. My life changed last year so am trying lots of new things...like this.
By the way I've been nodded at. Do I nod back or PM? Thanks.
Hi Mate
a nod is just a Hi as you would out on the road. a PM is up to you.
You get out of this what you put in.
enjoy.take care AJ
PS I nodded you too
Hi GrainyKev
Welcome to BM.
People see nods in different ways, I usually nod back to be courteous and read very little into it in other directions. Sending a PM is always a nice thing to do, as is receiving one also. You don't know until you try.
Check out the forums and events, then put your name down for a few and you will soon meet lots of good people on here.
Good luck and ride safe
