Hi davidneale, thanks for welcome message, I'm looking forward to going to events, try not to fall off again.
Bebington is near to Liverpool, on opposite side of River Mersey.
I'm a vehiclr technician, worked on all sorts over the years, have to fix up my bike now.
Hi and welcome to the club all recent newbies, especially lindaloki, lionfish, tribaldragon and Force999 I hope you enjoy your time here with us
If you see an event you'd like to go to, on the events calendar, put your name down.
http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/calendar.asp
If there isn't an event in your area you could arrange your own. Post the event in the motorcycle events forum...
http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/forum/all_cats.asp
...to see if there's any interest, then when you've got a few
definites attending submit it for inclusion to the event calendar; that way you have a place to put any photos that were taken at the event.
Private events (those that aren't open to ALL members) aren't included in the Biker Match events calendar so any photos from those events can be added to individual profiles.

Hope to bump into most of you again before the years out

Hi Sandi, Thanks for the welcome!, I'm looking forward to getting out to events, and meeting other members, only just got bike. Have been commuting on a scoot for a while
Hey 999, nowt wrong wi scoots
Wheels is wheels
It's who's in charge of em that counts
Ride on mate, hope the bike's not too damaged from your "off" ,by the front door !
WTF happened ?
Hi emzed, Yes, I've been riding them a while, went to school on a Lambretta.
Well I don't really know, but one minute I was just coming to a stop, next it's over to the right, couldn't hold it. Bent front brake lever, end of handlebar, not sure if footrest support is too, going to look at another bike to compare. Not a good start eh?
Force999.. you'd be suprised just how easy it is to "drop a bike" ~ really.. no shame.. they've all done it.. I know they have... Least you are legal to ride.. I hide away in a carpark once a week and practice "clutch control" so I can go for my CBT.. tried that whole "stopping" thing last week without using my feet... "whooooooohoooooo" she says when accomplishing said task.. only to have David have to take the weight of me and the bike to stop us hitting the ground
Being a tad hard on myself.. I can actually do it now and it did just happen the once... but just letting you know you're not alone
Oh and Welcome to the site too.. and Emzed who has already shown much lushness.. Thank you
And Lionfish.. there was a message with your nod hunny.. twas in here.. so you weren't too far off the mark either
Hi rockchickeelicious, Thanks for your sympathy and encouraging message. Good to hear that you are progresssing with training, you'll soon be on the road I'm sure.
Greetings! I am new on here, so just making my presence known... Hellooo!! ;D
I have always had a keen interest in bikes, but unfortunately don't ride :/ , it is on my bucket list tho.... chuckle!
Hi Zoerlina
Welcome to BM. Don't worry about noe having a bike, most BM only events you get there anyway you can. There are lots of good people to meet. Check out the events pages and you should find something that suites you.
Good luck
David
Hi zoerlina, welcome from me too. We're a good bunch, maybe a bit odd too, but who wants normal? Come into chat sometime, that's always good for a laugh
Odd is fine here
We even cater for bizzare
But they haven't found a category for me yet
And it's been 4 years
I'm starting to think I dont fit in
Welcome home Zoerlina
Why thank you kindly Emzed.
Perhaps you're in the uncategorized category! ;D
& although I'm not long in this community I get the impression you're a bit of a fixture here !! x
Helloooooooo to all new members and a very warm welcome to BM
This is a very friendly site and i'm sure you'll meet some crackin folk as I have done. Don't be shy and try to make it to one of the many events detailed.
Take care and ride safe, hope to bump into you at some point
Greetings to all, I've just joined and am still feeling my way round, (in the nicest possible way). I'm not sure of all the protocols et al so I'll probably just lurk and watch for a while.
