Hi all, been a very busy couple of days on the euro invasion. We left Saint Flour on wednesday morning and headed for the Millau viaduct. What an amazing sight to see as you come over the mountains on the motorway. We spent a couple of hours there and underneath aswell. Some amazing pics to follow on my profile. Then we headed to Toulouse were we spent the night at a F1 hotel, a little basic but ok. Total milage for the day was 237. Thursday has seen the group split as one of up has some battle scars from a recent spill that have been causing some trouble. So me and Stew have been off into the mountains for some amazing riding, on very very technical roads. At one stage we did 48k with are bikes only be upright for the max time of 5 sec's. Hard work. But tonight we are resting in our suite in a 3star hotel. Ready for are final ride south and the blues festival in Bejar in Spain. Total milage today has been 373, which takes the total for the whole trip so far to 1227 miles. In four days. Will catch up soon my beds calling me :-)
Hi everyone :-) another instalment of the euro invasion. arrived in Bejar on Friday after a ride in of 284 miles. Another late nite later, the gig finished at four in the morning. But the venue was awesome. It was held in the open air at the oldest bull ring in Spain. But we was up and out at twelve. A sunny ride later up north saw us over nighting in a small village called Formista, and a ride of 173 miles. But the accom was a lovely typical spanish hostel. This morning we went to see an old lock system, built in 1753.then a ride out of spain into the west of France. Over nighting tonight at a little village called Onessa. Todays milage is 307 miles. So the total milage so far is 1971.7 ish lol i'm off to see an old school mate tomoz so happy times yay.
well the final post guy's. Were back in sunny blighty. The run up to me mates took me 4 1/2 hours with milage for the day totaling 295. Its taken the total milage to 2266.7. mind you his house is beautiful, old rustic French farm house. Mind you a couple of days chilling and meeting the grumpiest French post office worker in the world did me a world of good. So Thursday saw me hot footing it across country to Caen for the night ferry. Total milage for the day was 378 miles. but after a walk round one of the many Military cemetries in the area i was left in a very somber mood. I think I'd like a day covering the area in the future. Anyway ferry caught, and we arrived back this morning at half six, so 173 miles later I was back at my start position. So total milage ended up being 2815.2, over 10 days. So if you've not been to the continent you've got to go.
