Thanks for that RC - good call on Mr Cowell's part there, getting him to change songs!

a bit like "Olive" off "On The Buses" remember her. My late dad used to fancy the actress, he said 'she's a corker when she's not made up as that daft Olive' Susan Boyle: there was a poll on MSN front page 'should she have a makeover or is she ok as she is?' I reckon whether she needs one or not she's going to get one lol

I think the kid has agreat voice But I did think Mr Cowell's interventtion looked a little contrived He looked a bit too smug when the kid re-started maybe I'm an old cynic but I cant help thinking it was "a put up job" How did he (Cowell) know there was another song ? How often has this happened ? The music was "cued" and ready ? Still got a great voice though, and it made good television

They know there's another song - each singer always has 2 songs prepared on these things. And of course it's contrived - but everyone thinks Cowell's a big old meanie and he's not... he just knows what works and what doesn't, otherwise he wouldn't be the success that he is

Stavros Flatly was funny but a bit of a 'one trick pony', Susan's voice is amazing!

Oh yeah - Stavros Flatly is definitely a one trick pony act... but still funny... and the relationship between father and son was great to see

I was hoping Simon was going to ask what his next act was to going to be. The reply would have to be "Stavros Cowell". The look on SC's face would have been priceless!
