Take an empty fairy liquid bottle and fill it with water. Keep it in the car with you and then when you want to wash your screen, stick your arm out of the window and spray!

Hi Mat, know what to do if the wiper motor stops, on one of my cars i had a bit of string tied to each wiper arm coming in each side window and just pulled them from side to side. It work better if you have a passenger.

lol thanks! Ok I've seen now that water just dribbles out of both sides, it doesn't spray onto the screen that's all. Quite a bit runs out too. Any ideas?

Wow... I thought the UK didn't like cars! That's monthly road tax? Sheesh! No idea what income tax is like on company vehicles here any more - been a long time since I was involved in that side of life, but I know folk complain about it in a big way.

The Dutch don't like cars. Thats' 80 euros in road tax and the rest in income tax.

"just dribbles out of both sides" You need to see a doctor ...... Ok, ok, I'll stop now .... You've got a blockage or similar Matt. Not sure how you're gonna do it mate, but you need to get at those pipes. (Need to get at those pipes lol - Oh, you couldn't write this ...... well, actually you could of course, cos I am .... shut up Geoff)

That sounds like a case of blocked nozzle, to use a car techie term. You need to get a pin and insert the pointed end into the nozzle and wiggle it about a bit. Then try the washer again. Repeat until problem solved. You can also use the pin to correct the aim of the washer. Don't try to use the blunt end of the pin, as it won't fit and therfe is a risk of soft tissue injury from the sharp or pointed end. *phew...think that just about gets me off the health and safety hook if Matt does himself a nasty*

ah crap, ive not got a pin. But hey - just realised that it's less than a year old and still under manufacturers warranty! Will take it to Honda garage tomorrow, they can deal with it. BTW - Ive now got it so that its squirting water out about 2 inches, no further tho. And its a thick line of water not a thin spray.

sorted! took it to a nearby honda dealer today and they pulled the cover off and found the hose(s) were trapped/kinked. Strange how that could ever have got like that though!
