Gotta be careful with the light flashy thing. It can sometimes be mistaken for something else.I hit a bump on the M1 friday and the artic in the slow lane must of thought i flashed him to pull out. So he did. Lucky i had enough to pull away quick. Turned light off after that. Waving is probably safer.
Agree with Ricdude, just because you know why your flashing your light, don't mean other road users will automatically be thinking the same thing.
Whereas a wave is what it is,..um..a wave!
