Just Bumping this up for fink, If you need any info please contact JP as Fink is unavalible to reply Camping weekend in Llandovery close to The Black Mountain in the Towy valley. This is on a really good family run site with very good amenities, (shower block etc ) Next door to the camp site, we have Llandovery rugby club where we can book breakfast (in advance) they also do evening meals. There are also a short walk away, numerous good pubs and places to eat locally. The possibilities for rides out over the mountains on Saturday are endless for those who want to see some breath-taking scenery, weather permitting. Lol For those who like visiting biker cafes, we have two. 'The Owl's nest' next door, and the West end café, in Llandovery both a Mecca for motorcyclists. M&P's is also about 30 miles away if anyone wants to go and drool over bikes (or accessories) The site is pet friendly but pets must be kept under full control at all times and any fouling cleaned up immediately This also applies to any members that have brought there children along who are always welcome to BM camps
Site fees are to follow (need to check on this first) All camping monies will be collected by Fink on your arrival. Fink will also keep a list of attendees so be sure to add yourself to the event list. Any other questions Please contact JP Hope to see you all there
My panniers are clean, should I start packing? Do I really need to pack that/them? Are Welsh bugs smaller than Scottish ones? Which route shall I take to the A40?
These and other questions will be answered over the next couple of weeks 😁
Just 2 weeks to go still lots of room at the site all welcome to come and join us for a relaxing long weekend and to raise a glass for fink and other lost friends. Kids and pets welcome but if you do bring them you must keep them under full control and ensure there mess is cleared up that includes the pets too lol
Strom In my defence I was brought up with a strict rule that food must not be wasted. All those staving Biafran childern may have been greatful of all of the food I didnt waste.
So I said a sad goodbye to my sick cat today which means I could come along to this do after all! It will either be car and camping or bike and hotel as I don’t want to pack camp gear on my bike anymore. I will check out options and make a decision. 👍🏼
Hi Guys 👋, Al is having a small operation on Wednesday 4th and he's not going to be well enough to get to the camp. However, it is my intention to join you all on the Saturday evening in the Rugby club for the celebration of Fink's life and then drive home later. Gutted I won't be able to get there for the rideouts etc but it will be nice to catch up with everyone in the evening 🙂
