Hi and welcome to all newbies, keep your eye on the events forum and the events calendar for an event near you, and if you can't find one you could organise your own event and start a topic in the event forum, as well as submit it to the calendar.

If you see an event you'd like to go to, on the events calendar, put your name down. If no event in your area you could arrange your own. Post the event in the event forum to see if there's any interest, then when you've got at least 5 definites attending submit it for inclusion to the calendar; that way you have a place to put any photos that were taken at the event.
Private events (those that aren't open to ALL members) aren't included in the Biker Match events calendar so any photos from those events can be added to individual profiles.

Hi to you all - Hope to get to interact with some of you soon. As you can see I am laid up at the moment - lardy old bandit 12 ended ontop of me - at lease she had a soft landing lol. My own fault - lucky it was only slow and only busted my ankle and damaged my elbow - no one else involved thankfully Will be bored for a few weeks yet - so drop by and say hello
Just joined. Rode learner bikes in my early 20's. Have recently given up work, hopefully for good and am concentraing on developing a full scale mid life crisis. Just passed my bike test and have bought a Triumph Sprint GT. Have a pal in the same postion. He is just waiting to pass his test and his new bike is waiting on him in the showroom.
Hope to get up to the Highlands and maybe around Ireland before the weather gets too bad. I'm 50 next year so a tour of Europe has to be on the cards.
In the short term however I'm just trying to overcome my fear of my new bike! Hope to catch up with others on the site.
