Who is editing posts? Is this a forum where children can see expletives? I thought this was an adult site, if people don't want to see adult language of the Anglo Saxon kind then they don't have to read it. If I wanted to censor my language I would do it myself. Tell me please, what is the difference between f**k and f**k? apart from one vowel absolutely nothing, except a bastardised format mistakenly believed to be more user friendly. Leave posts as they are, unless they are directed purposely at someone with the intent to hurt or upset.

Yeah thats right, edit without revealing who is doing it. Now you see that post doesn't make any sense, fool. Grow up who ever you are.

Bit puzzled mood

Can any of you blokes explain

Why do men , oh ok two men I know, who have some wish to visit me , one not working so bit broke, one self employed so bit broke
But both want me to pay the fuel cost to get them back home
So in effect I am paying them to visit me
Sounds wrong to me or is it just me ?
If I meet either of them somewhere on only friend and look at a bike basis , am I duly expected to help with their travelling costs ?

I can't figure it out either feylin, if I go somewhere I take it that I pay the fuel, or traveling costs, both ways. Otherwise, I have to stay at home and save up a bit more.

Feylin, if it was a 'pick up a pilly day' kind of event then yes, if you were pillying, a contribution, or the offer at least, would be the norm. However, I know you ride your own bike and it is they that want to come and see you, so tell them both to take a hike if they can't afford to visit you. would they be prepared to pay your travelling costs if the shoe were on the other foot?

Thanks guys Thought it was just me being overly suspicious
If it was a pilly thingy 66,I've no issue paying towards costs

I did ask for his eye to look over a bike, but he then mostly talked about other stuff and rather than meet me where bike is said would come to mine which is another 30 odd miles past where the bike is for sale
I can ill afford to pay for people to visit me, nor am I that desperate Makes me sound like a lonely old woman paying a gigalo :D
.....oh hang on ......yup old woman, nope not desperate or lonely ha ha ha

Just read the 'paying to come' and see you thing...

'Men ???' debatable, think they must be having a laugh.

a man would treat a lady with the respect she deserves if meeting for the first time. Surely they would want to make a good initial impression. ?

To quote 66 - so tell them both to take a hike

They would have to take a hike because they have no money for petrol.

Here's a start for them, They just need to get the thumb facing the right way

I can't really put a good adjective here to describe my mood. There are laydeez(?) on here asking for pilly rides out as friends and when you try to make contact, only as friends, they totally ignore you. Now those who know me, and there are some who think they know me, but they don't, know I am not on the trap to find a partner. I am not saying I am a closed book on the subject, but if that is going to happen it will happen over time. Especially with distances greater than 20 miles, have tried that and it don't work for me, hence the offer of pilly rides out as mates. And here I am thinking it is a male dominated domain to be ignorant and stuck up.
Laydeez, don't look a gift horse in the mouth for too long, it is likely to bite your hand.

A mixed mood.
I've been signed off for another six weeks, but on Friday I'm back up the hospital for some sort of assessment for physio.
