another reason why black nox cameras should be fitted to cars and bikes. Maybe the camera wouuld have cought the two vans.

Thats a good idea, PP, even just the thought of them being fitted would probably prompt a few more people to help in these situations.

Leaves you speechless, doesn't it?
I suppose it's just about possible the driver of the first van didn't realise he'd caused an accident, but the behaviour of the people in the second van is simply unbelievable. I hope they're found, and their home addresses forwarded to every chapter of every biker club/gang/outfit around. That'll sort em.

I wish I could say that this story was unbelievable but I am afraid I can't in this modern world. The only saving grace is the victim's attitude towards the van driver! PP - do you know if any insurance companies offer discount for fitting the various Black Box recorders that are just appearing in the UK now?

I'd like to say stuff, but I'm getting bored of the general populace just sighing at my 'extremist' views..... So just kill them all, 'kay? They're wasting my space. Seriously, seriously, seriously... there is no "nicey-nicey" about this. If people are going to be this blinkered to their fellows' suffering, then they shall be treated with the same contempt and ignorance. If God exists, I will be applying for the position of Karmic Arbiter.

TC.. i was gonna say 'unbeleivable' in my OP, but as i typed it, i realised it wasn't !! Me and my ex had a car crash on the Autobahn in Germany, many moons ago, we had our 9 month old son with us, and i was hysterical watchin all the cars just passin us by, until one lovely couple pulled up. Thankfully we werent serioulsy injured but both cars involved were completely wrecked. Why do ppl do this?? I could NEVER pass anyone by in that situation.. i thought it was human nature... obvioulsy not all humans think this way... sad.

Karey, when I was trying to calm some (soon to be fatal) occupants of two vehicles involved in a head on collision there were vehicles pulling out from the queuing traffic, tiptoeing their way through the carnage and brushing my back with their door mirrors as they passed!! All you can hope is that they picked up a puncture further down the road from all the debris.... I finally snapped and (in all my biker gear!) forcefully instructed these 2 pick up drivers (coming in opposite directions and both towing!) to pull over as they were overtaking all the queuing traffic. He even asked me why!! I just stared at him and pointed at the ambulance coming up the road which he would have met head on... justice was that he was now part of the accident scene so he could not move for 6 hours whereas if he had kept his place in the queue he would have been gone in an hour as the police turned everyone around safely...   Human nature has long since left a lot of people I am afraid...

TM's right about not knowing who you're dealing with and I did wonder if the first van in the accident that started this thread was one of those who will deliberately cut up a biker or pedal cyclist just for 'fun'. They do exist I'm afraid, and I've met one of two on the road - fortunately without any serious consequences.

Tangoman, I've put a post on the BMW club forum thanking the BMW riders, assuming they recognise themselves.
