Love riding and socialising in the peak district on my himalayan, so looking for riding buddies and interesting events. Am loving the biker passport as am always interested in new adventures. Am planning to go to Staffordshire motorbike show this year, plus a Scottish and Irish trip!
Been to Scotland a few times, very beautiful with the locks and mountains. I was lucky to catch it on good weather not much rain but can be very windy on the top/ north coast. When to Ireland last year in the summer, once again very lucky with weather as I had no rain and the temperatures were above 20’. Ferry to Dublin then rode all around the coast back to Dublin. I always camp with a tent and use iOverlander app for camp sites which are quite reasonable on price also better Security for the bike as it’s right by the tent and they lock the gate up about 9 pm of the night. I heard some stories about bikes being stolen from hotels even in secure lock up. I’ve got a passport and it gives you more of a planning ride than just going to the usual cafe also will be helpful when touring around the uk, Wales etc 😁
