It strikes me that there's an abundance of Northern members here and not many from the South and especially London area Now don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against Northerners, but i wouldn't let a daughter of mine marry one :) That's a joke for those of you that need help understanding that. So, If you live down south, and even if you have a strange accent from oopp norf and live down here, then lets have as shout out and see who's out there.
At least you have members living in London and beyond (albeit south of the river) that actually go to meets/ trips. Try living in East Anglia. That's why living in Cambridgeshire I have to travel to at least North Lincolnshire to find anyone who rides further than a cafe 10 miles from their front door.
The benefit of travelling north of course is brilliant roads and scenery with no traffic or people to get in your way. You ought to try Easter in Middleton some time....
What? But just about everyone and everything is Down South (South being anywhere that isn't North of the River Tees). On the other hand the BM organised events have been reasonably spread out this year, although as usual Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Suffolk have nothing. Nothing between Leeds and Birmingham of course... but there is nothing is nothing between Leeds and Birmingham except people with strange accents and a worrying capacity for beer. Right, I'm off to waterproof my flat cap and check on the slag heaps...
Would anyone like to meet at Rev's and Relics in Maltby on Sunday? As I had to bail put last time... there... something in South Yorkshire, between Leeds and Birmingham 🤣
