There is a petition going to get the import of unsafe motorcycle clothing discussed in Parliament. I expect by now we're all aware of the current rating system, but there is a big issue with fake and fraudulent gear. This isn't about stopping you riding in a puce tutu and heels should you want to.
It's pretty depressing how little traction this petition is gaining, I would have thought more would people want to know their protective clothing is as protective as is claimed. Idleness? Distrust of science / Big Farmer mentality? Whatever, it just means fake good will proliferate on social media. Caveat emptor as usual I suppose. 😒
