Event: HOG Wake the Lakes 2022

A celebration of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.). Join us in the Southern Gateway to the Lakes - Kendal. Over the course of the weekend we will explore the Lake District, and enjoy all the hospitality of the local area. With entertainment of all kinds throughout the weekend all centred around Mintbridge.

One of the "must go to" Events in the Harley Owners Group events calendar. Wake the Lakes is also an opportunity to see the beautiful Lake District Landscape Don't MISS OUT!



Ride-in Custom Show

With more Custom Bikes than ever before competition is heating up, but we'd love for you to show your bike at Wake the Lakes, prizes and awards are up for grabs!



Glamping Village (Onsite Accommodation)

This year will see the return of the Glamping Village to Wake the Lakes, you will have a Camping experience like no other, the village is being built around the needs of HOG Members!

Camping Area (Onsite Accommodation)

Camping is included in the price of the festival ticket, with showers & toilets. Bike parking is also available on hard standing or next to your tent (Weather dependant).

Parade Ride/s

Join us on a group tour off the Lake District, we'll see lakeside roads, pictureque villages, open highways and breathtaking views!

The Parade Ride is unrestricted in numbers and is included as part of the Festival Ticket.

Group Ride-outs

We also offer Road Captain Led group rides around some of the more scenic areas of the Lake District, including the option of a ride over the World Famous Hard Knott Pass - The STEEPEST road in the UK!

For those who are looking for something a little more leisurly feel free to join us on one of the other group rides, all with their own twist and highlights!

When the group rides are full don't worry we can provide maps and satnav guides to enjoy some routes on your own at your own pace with the option to stop and enjoy the hospitality throughout the region.

Family Fun

A great family event suitable for all ages. The weekend promises to be filled with plenty of entertainment – and it’s all free (under 16's) which is just what you want on a family day out or weekend away. Of course we have not forgotten the kids, who want to be entertained as well, so there will be plenty of games, lots of fun and activities galore to keep them amused. Don’t forget your camera as there will be lots of opportunities to take photos of them “riding” some mean machines. The Custom Bike Show will certainly be a great spectacle with customised bikes, fascinating paint jobs and every type of machine you could ever imagine taking part.
