Hello Fellow-Riders.

I have organised a ride-out from Hertford Mickey D’s, SG13 7SH to the Ashridge Estate (national trust, Aldbury). On this weekend (Sunday, the 22nd of September) we are going to wind up 75 miles of undeniably beautiful county roads from Essex to Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire for circa of two hours riding excluding rest stop.

Start point: Hertford McDonald’s, SG13 7SH
***Those who travelling from Bishop’s Stortford, can meet @ shell garage 08:50 AM for 09:05 AM getaway to warm up while following Captn Sloe during the slowest part of their ride-out(????) and enjoy traveling to the start point together.***

Briefing: 09:45 for 10:00 departure
Single stop halfway
Destination stop: The Brownlow Café (just sandwiches, queue likely but we have alternative, just 10 minutes away if you’d like to have main course, please tell me)

I will be ending up this ride @ St Albans McDonald’s AL1 2RJ after riding the very western attractive part of Hertfordshire for 30 minutes.
***Those who heading for Bishop’s Stortford have two options, either straight to their destination or take A414 from St Albans Mc then A1184 to the B’s S.(42 mins)***

Event Hosts: Cyrus and Captn
Ride Leader: Cyrus

This ride is not suitable for scooters & or motorcycles less than 250 cc, hope you understand.
30s & 40s strictly observed.
Progressive and brisk, when appropriate.

Please be prompt with a full tank of petrol (at least for 90 miles) and empty bladder.

You are responsible for your own safety so ensure you and your bike are road worthy and all legalities are observed.

The BSB, Host(s), Ride leader(s) or Tail-gunner(s) are not responsible for the individual action or behaviour of any rider member within the group of ride. The Club’s guide lines would be severely considered.

Corner-Man or Buddy?!! Will be considered as per number of Fellow-riders, for 6+ riders, normally I do consider (IAM drop-off marker system) corner-man system (without wing man) to keep riders together, otherwise buddy system if we are few.

For newcomers, Please watch the video regarding the Corner-man System (without wingmen) which explains the way we manage the ride to keep people together (and mostly succeed!!) assuming a larger group -
https://l-a-m.org/understanding-the-drop-off-marker-system/

No venue booking on this one so no RSVP time limitation. A good ride, lovely roads, beautiful destination and a bit of banter. What would you ask more?!

REMEMBER A FULL TANK OF FUEL AT THE START. MUST FILL UP WHEN EVERYONE ELSE DOES PLEASE
