Irreverent dirt track racing. Dressing in a fancy dress costume isn't compulsory but helps the fun atmosphere. Fancy dress is optional but encouraged so make sure you have good quality safety gear underneath. Dirtquake is a fun race.
Dirtquake is an alternative motoring festival that encourages a diverse blend of bike fans, dirt racers, millennials, grease monkeys, celebrities, custom shop designers, speed freaks and weekend warriors.
The racing action takes place on high-adrenaline, loose surface oval circuits without the hassle, rules and costs usually associated with motorsport. Dirtquake is inclusive - giving riders, enthusiast and even pro racers a unique chance to take on all comers.
Not just a wacky race, Dirtquake has developed into a weekend carnival of music, food, camping, retail and bike culture, attracting thousands of spectators, this free-spirited motoring festival has risen in appeal to many.
The original run what ya brung flat track race is now in its seventh year. The fun happens on Saturday, 18th August when riders of all skill levels get their dirt track kicks on the Arena Essex speedway oval.

Guy Martin will be racing in the seventh event on Saturday.
Arena Essex Raceway will play host to a day of wacky races from 11 a.m. on the day with categories including scooter, ladies, chopper and street tracker racer along with the DTRA Super Hooligan Finale.
