The Toy Run for King's Mill Hospital returns for 2017.
On Sunday 17th December we will meet in the carpark at the rear of The ROBIN HOOD pub, 540 Mansfield Road NG5 2FR from 9.30am. Tea, coffee and bacon cobs will be served to start the day off in fine form...
ALL BIKES ARE WELCOME - NO RESTRICTIONS (learner friendly route for both the first leg and second leg, if you wish to ride on)
We will depart at 11am prompt so please don't be late!
Last year we saw over 100 bikes attend and this produced a huge range of toys - let's see if we can beat that figure in 2017.
Leg 1: Now a longer distance of around 12 miles to the King's Mill Hospital, where you'll pull into the first carpark on the right - barriers will be lifted on arrival and there's no charge of course.
Hospital staff will meet us there to ake your toys and games and there will be plenty of time for group photos etc.
Leg 2: Once complete, for anyone wanting a slightly further ride out, we will continue onwards to the Giltbrook Retail Park (IKEA) where the Blood Bike team will already be set up for our final day of fundraising. Park up in front of Starbucks / Frankie & Benny's and grab yourself a warm coffee.
Please note: We must NOT park on any pavement areas..!
THERE IS NO CHARGE for attending the Toy Run and our Charity do not expect donations from those attending - this is purely for the children who spend Xmas in hospital, giving a little cheer and putting a smile on a few faces.
AS BEFORE: Only NEW toys and games please - NOT WRAPPED
