I like intelligent TV documentaries and biographies. I like things that astound and amaze - a good Severn Bore is something to behold as are some Welsh waterfalls (like Sgwd yr Eira - and I can say it!).
Humour: I like Monty Python, L&H, Goons, Lee Mack, Bill Bailey, Jo Brand, Kathryn Ryan.
Cartoons: Popeye, Tom & Jerry, Andy Capp, Peanuts, Morph, Dilbert, Garfield - all well observed.
Art: Dali, Botticelli, Michaelangelo, da Vinci, Banksy.
History: Roman/Tudor, Mary Celeste (NOT 'Marie', I'm also a pedant), The Bounty Mutiny, Castles, Cathedral and Church architecture (despite my non-believer status), stone circles, tumuli and other ancient structures.

I also like: English language, spoonerisms, Archaeology, Genealogy, Geology, Etymology, Entomology, Gynoc. . . . .

Not bad for a mechanical engineer, eh?

I dislike: litter-louts, dog-foulers, noisy, lazy, rude or inconsiderate people. Soaps, 'reality' TV.
No interest in: Football, Golf, Darts, Snooker, Bowls. The only interesting thing about football (also known as 'shouting') is the way the balls are constructed from differing polygonal panels.
