Due to the early arrival of Easter on '27, and the possible late departure of the glaciers, it's going to be May-B-Easter 2.
Firstly this is not a rally with rally like activities, it's a tour of the Northern Pennines and nearby areas.
There will be a (dis)organised ride on both Saturday and Sunday. These are usually about 150 miles long, no motorways, scenic and very little traffic. There will of course be sufficient coffee and cake stops and as we’re not going particularly fast these rides are perfectly suitable for inexperienced or new riders.
Evenings are spent one of the two pubs eating and drinking, both of the pubs serve very good food, and there is also a good chippie. There are a few cafes open through the day for breakfasts.
You'll need to sort your own accommodation. Both The Teesdale and The Forresters have rooms, the two campsites are Dale View and Leekworth and there are a few B&B's and holiday lets.
It is a Bank Holiday weekend so you will need to book in advance.
