Came back at the weekend from another amazing 2 week European tour with 4 other friends.
We managed 7 countries – Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and France. Some fantastic mountain passes passes including the B500 in Germany, Susten pass and Gotthard pass in Switzerland, as well as the Route Napoleon in France – and several goat tracks over the tops of mountains :) And also time by Lake Constance and Lake Maggiore.

We even had time to relax swimming in the Med for a couple of days in le Lavandou on the Cote D’azur.

But it was also an interesting trip for another reason.
My ABS module went into failure mode on day 1, so had no speedo, no trip counter, no mileometer, no fuel gauge, no cancelling indicators, and of course no ABS brakes.
Made the next 2500 miles a little interesting

Have you ever been to the Nurburgring?

Roads round that area are great, especially round Eifel Mountains. Then ride to Spa for a trackday, if that's your bag.

Agree - some lovely landscape pics.
Those cobbles would have my fillings rattle..

Those cobbles were on the old Gotthard pass - that lovely winding road in the picture just before. Nobody told us that the entire 11km of hairpins up to the top were cobbled
And halfway round there were a herd of swiss cows, complete with bells, that we had to navigate through, right in the middle of the road
