Cornholio, I know exactly how that feels, for 17 years Rosie Dawg was part of my life and it's only been four months since I had to do the same thing. Miss her terribly, everyday .
Cheers Lindsay, out of all their dogs she was my favourite. Their Rottweiler is a pain in the arse, their Dogue de Bordeaux is a pain in their arse, but their Jack Russell cross was lovely.
She hardly ever got any attention cos of the other two being massive attention whores, always in your face and so on. I'm on about the dogs, not the owners. She was 16 so she had a good innings, they got her when their daughter was 10 years old, she's 26 now and she recently just got over cancer. It's been a bad year for them this year, we'll all be glad when this year is over
Taking one of my 'old biddies' to a day centre today, and noticing with regret how far and fast her Dementia has progressed since last time...so sad..:(
Hearing the sad news that an old friend, colleague and mother of a mate, has passed away in the early hours today after many years of illness due to several strokes.
Discovering an empty space where the bike should have been on the driveway
But I got a call from the cops this afternoon to say it had been found with fairly minor damage. I'm still not a happy bunny, but I'm a lot less unhappy than I was before
Two youths have been arrested and charged, I am told. I am not in any way vindictive, and I understand fully that they are innocent until proven guilty. But if by some chance they were fed to the lions at the zoo, my sympathy would be entirely with the lions
Can't have anything these days without some scumbag nicking it. I've had 2 bikes nicked over the years, both never seen again. Obviously they were broken for parts, or ringers. If I caught a bike thief these days I wouldn't even bother calling the old bill, I'd deal with it myself. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't do it again.
