I think its about time you binned the emails matt,
Im sick of marking them all as spam. Spammers have figered out that 90% of members have ?@bikermatch.co.uk

For those who don't wish to receive emails go to your account, mail preferences and click no to the "receive weekly email"

I think that will only stop the BM weekly email RB

You can also say no to nods and pm notifications.

Not sure what other emails you mean, t'other than the weekly. Maybe you get more or different ones being a moderator.

The email system on bm is open to spammers to make money every user name is ( ?@bikermatch.co.uk ) so they just sell everyones email address over and over again.

I haven't had any problems either, then again I set my profile originally for no email alerts.

I thought you like being 'loved long time' JP ?!

I have my yahoo email account set up with high spam level so pretty much all goes straight to spam. I then only have to unspam stuff if I need. That said not had any spam emails from bikermatch.

JP,
I think you mean that YOUR bikermatch email address is receiving lots of spam.

Only STAFF have these email addresses, not standard members.

I also get some spam but it's controllable

If you're getting too many to handle we will have to change your email address.

It's not the system that's at fault - it's that you have been registered somewhere as a valid email address. Maybe you clicked a link by mistake or entered your BM email address somewhere.

Let me know if I should change it for you, it's not a problem
