Just a wee query....when typing up messages on mah mobile, am finding that the two buttons "send" & "clear" are rather somewhat close together. If you hit clear by mistake due to sausagefingeritis then you lose your whole pm. Grrrr, frustratin! N tis never the same tryin to get back n recapture ya original wordyage. Is there any way that the clear button could get placed slightly further down the right hand side so there's a wee bit more o a gap twixt the two? And does anyone ever actually use that lil ole clear button, other than albeit accidentally? Just wonderin, is all. Ta :)

Excellent point cattykins, I've often wondered that myself!

I'd agree the clear form option isn't really needed, you can just as easy hit 'back'

I have used it just to see what it did. Otherwise I haven't bothered with it.

Your dead right, i have to enlarge the script on my mobile to miss it and only think we need the send button

Or just not so near to one and other.
And when you hit the clear by mistake, it's always at the end of a long message.

You're absolutely right.

I'm working on making it "mobile friendly".  One step at a time I need to do the whole site.

At the moment though I'm concentrating on trying to get EE users back online in the evenings.  Spend a few weeks trying to figure out why the site is completely down for some people in the evening (see other forum topic).

Thanks Matt, fix it when you have the time, we have managed with it so far so another week or so should be ok

Any update on this prob, Matt?

Even if "send" and "clear" buttons can't be spaced further apart, would it be possible to have a "are you sure you want to delete this message" box, lol. Still getting peeps saying they are having probs with these two buttons, cos they are just simply too close together. So easy to do, at least if there was a box pop up asking you, Do you wanna delete, gives us all a chance not to delete our ramblings, lol. Ta, Matt.

Hi guys

I don't think this is an issue anymore. The forums have been redesigned since 2015  Tongue

Also, when you hit "Reset" now, it DOES ask you to confirm.

Lastly... I don't think the buttons should be seen close together anymore. Can anyone confirm if this is still a problem with the new design??

Might just be me but I managed to clear a message instead of send last night. Had to retype.

Definitely more of an issue on a tablet/phone where touchscreen keyboards and sausage fingers combined with predictive text creates endless hours of amusement Big smile
